Since the middle of the sixties Irene Aebi has participated in most of Steve Lacy's concerts and recordings where she has sung texts (by Lao Tseu, Braque, Apollinaire, Blaise Cendrars...) that Lacy set to music. Along with her work with Lacy, she has appeared in various bands.
